Technical SEO Executive  

Salary £25-30k 

Your role will be to pick apart client websites from a purely SEO point of view. You’ll dig deep into clients sites and leave no stone un-turned whilst you audit anything technical that could hamper a clients success via search. Having either previously been a developer or are naturally a technically minded person you’ll be able to comfortably to review a client site and identify points of weakness. 

Specifically your day to day tasks will involve:

  • Auditing website sever setup and speed performance
  • Auditing the website for basic SEO errors
  • Identify advanced technically SEO improvements 
  • Review quality and volume of backlinks
  • On-going management of client technical roll outs and monitor 404s
  • Technical SEO setups and webmaster console implementation 
  • Write up technical reports and assist presenting them clients 
  • Being the gatekeeper to onsite seo changes and evangelists for all things technical seo 

This is a fantastic role for either an experienced seo or a technically minded individual. You should have the following experience but you also may not, we’re not looking for the one absolute person with all these experience points 

  • 5 years relevant experience in-house or within an agency 
  • HTML, CSS knowledge
  • Server setup knowledge 
  • 5 years technical seo experiance
  • Good knowledge of working with webmaster console and other technical tools 
  • Google analytics epxerianced  

Copywritter

Salary £20-25k

It’s called a copywriter but it’s so much more than that. It’s the words that convince passive users to buy, inform and educate, provide entertainment and work hard for the business. What we really require is a conversion focused word smith that understands the importance of SEO (don’t worry, we won’t ruin your content by over optimising it with keywords!)    

Here’s what you day to day will look like

  • Researching client content themes and coming up with writing themes 
  • Writing high quality blog content (not high volume)
  • Writing product and service based content that engages and converts  
  • Perform content audits on current website content 
  • Produce tone of voice guidelines for clients content ongoing 
  • Deciding on the best structure for clients content and the best form of delivery 

This role is ideal for a previous copywriter or anyone with a passion for the written word. Below are desired experience points but not all are essential 

  • 5 years relevant experience in-house or within an agency 
  • Keen eye for detail and able to produce readable content that reads well 
  • Good portfolio of examples 
  • Ability to produce content with little direction from the client 
  • A basic understanding of content optimisation technquaies
